Ann Marie calls her yoga practice Dynamic Yoga for Wholeness, a method she has developed through years of cultivating an engaging and purposeful approach to asana. She guides students to show up fully for themselves on the mat, curating life-affirming qualities that support a collective intention to be free and WHOLE from the inside out.

She offers detailed, relatable instruction rooted in healthy biomechanics and mindful alignment. This level of attention, combined with breath awareness, naturally evolves into an active form of meditation that nurtures wellbeing both on and off the mat. Through her classes, students release stress, quiet the mind, and develop strong, open, balanced bodies. Over time—and with continued practice—her students find themselves better equipped to respond to the stresses of daily life.

Ann Marie loves teaching in a wide variety of settings, including military bases, on-site corporate programs, online classes, health clubs, yoga studios, private sessions, and universities.

She has also greatly enjoyed leading numerous yoga retreats in the Blue Ridge Mountains, Baja California, the Mayan Riviera, and Croatia.

After our first breakfast, we head to Plitvice Lakes, the oldest Croatian national park and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its 16 crystalline turquoise lakes, linked by dramatic waterfalls and shimmering travertine pools, are even more awe-inspiring up close than in any photograph. Enveloped by lush beech and pine forests, the area buzzes with diverse wildlife. We'll hike scenic boardwalk trails along the lakes, weave past thundering waterfalls, and pause at elevated viewpoints for sweeping panoramas of this natural masterpiece.

As you paddle downstream, glide through peaceful stretches of river, admire limestone cliffs, and take breaks for swimming, photos, or simply relaxing in this pristine environment. We'll hike through the Big Paklenica, ascending to one of its finest mountain huts. Our host will welcome us with homemade rakija, followed by a traditional "under the bell" meal—a Croatian cooking technique where fresh ingredients like meat, potatoes, and vegetables are slow-cooked beneath a metal bell smothered in hot coals. This method infuses the dish with deep, smoky flavors, offering an authentic taste of local heritage.

DAY 5
May 20th: Cycling in Krka River National Park. Split to Brac Island.

Today we move to our next destination, the Krka River National Park. With its seven travertine waterfalls and a total drop of 793 ft (242 m), it is one of the most beautiful natural and karst phenomena in Croatia.

An easy bike ride will take us from charming Skradin town to Skradinski buk waterfall, following the shores of the Krka River (it's possible to take the boat if you don't want to cycle).
Once we reach Skradinski buk waterfall, we will park our bikes and visit the waterfall area on foot, including the ethno village that will give us a fascinating insight into the former way of life in what used to be a rural area. Today, the old mills in the ethno village present a rare opportunity to witness the entire process of milling wheat, along with an impressive array of traditional crafts and activities that include washing and pounding of cloth, fabric weaving, ploughing, and horseshoe smithing.
