An easy bike ride will take us from charming Skradin town to Skradinski buk waterfall, following the shores of the Krka River (it's possible to take the boat if you don't want to cycle).

Once we reach Skradinski buk waterfall, we will park our bikes and visit the waterfall area on foot, including the ethno village that will give us a fascinating insight into the former way of life in what used to be a rural area. Today, the old mills in the ethno village present a rare opportunity to witness the entire process of milling wheat, along with an impressive array of traditional crafts and activities that include washing and pounding of cloth, fabric weaving, ploughing, and horseshoe smithing.

After returning to Skradin by bike, we will hop into our vehicle and drive to Roski waterfall for lunch in a traditional family mill. Local cheese (and prosciutto for non-vegetarians), home grown vegetables and wine are on the menu!

The island was blessed with an abundance of sunshine and the kind of nature where the sound of crickets, smell of pine trees and view of olive groves & vineyards work together to create a magical experience.

We will explore the island by car, starting with a visit to Vidova Gora, the highest peak of all Croatian Islands. The peak offers an amazing view over the Golden Cape beach in Bol town, as well as surrounding islands and coast.

We then continue to the Olive oil museum in the center of the island where we will learn how the oil is traditionally made and enjoy olive oil tasting, followed by savoring some great local wines.

A morning ferry will take us from Brac Island to ancient Hvar, the most popular town on the island. FOOD

Croatian cuisine is heterogeneous and is known as a cuisine of the regions, since every region has its own distinct culinary tradition. Since we are visiting different regions during this yoga adventure, you will get the chance to experience the great diversity of local specialties, tastes and flavors.

In continental regions meat dishes are dominant, accompanied by potatoes, other root veggies and lots of cabbage. Mediterranean areas focus more on fish, green veggies, olive oil and Mediterranean herb seasonings like rosemary, sage and oregano.

Excellent cheese and charcuterie are a part of the Croatian culinary tradition in all regions.

Blessed with a perfect climate, Croatians also nurture a long tradition of wine and olive oil making, focusing on quality over quantity. Dipping your bread in exceptional virgin olive oils and trying the long-established local types of wine will definitely be a part of your culinary experience.

Vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and all other dietary requirements can be accommodated, just let us know upon booking.

ACCOMMODATION

We will be staying in charming 3-star and 4-star guesthouses and hotels, perfectly located for our activities. We will be sending the Final bulletin with exact hotel names and addresses 1 month prior to departure.
