Our home for the weekend will be the enchanting robinson camp by the Mrežnica River, a one-hour drive from Zagreb.
The highlights of the camp are its secluded location and direct access to the river!
Complimentary use of several canoes and stand-up paddleboards (SUPs) is available for guests to enjoy fun water activities throughout the day.
The camp offers an excellent platform for yoga practice, an outdoor kitchen and toilets.
We have four wooden “tents”/cabins at our disposal:

Each tent has mattresses for sleeping.
If the cabins are full or you prefer to sleep separately, you can bring your own tent and equipment (camping mattress, and sleeping bag or blanket) or rent them from us (see rental prices HERE).




GUESTHOUSE ACCOMMODATION
If you're not a fan of camping, you can still join us for the full program and stay in a nearby guesthouse for a supplement.
For example, at Green Eden guesthouse, just a 10-minute walk from the camp, we have 2 rooms at our disposal, each one with its own bathroom:

MATEJA KATALINIC
Mateja is a seasoned yoga teacher with years of experience. Beyond yoga, she shares her knowledge and passion for movement through classes in conscious and oriental dance. She first encountered yoga in 2005 and began teaching in 2013. Over the years, she has dedicated herself to exploring a variety of yoga styles—including hatha, ashtanga, dharma, vinyasa flow, restorative, and yin—along with countless training programs. She’s had the privilege of learning from some of the biggest names in the yoga world, as well as exceptional local teachers to whom she’s deeply grateful for passing on their wisdom. Her most recent training was a TT500-hour program at the Dharmaway Center in Zagreb, completed in 2024. With her broad expertise, Mateja’s approach to teaching yoga is intuitive, fluid, and unburdened, always attuned to subtly listening to her students’ needs. She believes in a gentle yet profound and “powerful” practice, placing great emphasis on injury prevention and meditative, restorative sequences. For her, yoga isn’t about rigid discipline or pushing the body to its limits—it’s about enjoyment, softening, opening energy pathways, and creating new space within the body. The result? A deep sense of satisfaction, a renewal of life’s joy, and a balanced nervous system. Her experience is further enriched by contemporary somatic practices and body-therapeutic approaches, which inevitably shape her work. After earning a degree from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb, Mateja has worked simultaneously as a Croatian language and literature professor and a yoga teacher. She also holds a degree in pedagogy, where her research focused on the somatics and therapeutic potential of dance and yoga. Teaching is her calling, and guiding yoga sessions brings her particular fulfillment. She loves sharing her knowledge with others, offering genuine support and gentle, unobtrusive guidance.

GORANA BAJCETIC
Gorana was introduced to yoga at a very young age, attending yoga classes and gatherings with her mother. In her late twenties she got interested in power yoga styles and eventually completed her 300-hr teacher training led by Jadranko Miklec, recognised by the European Yoga Federation (EYF). She is currently attending the education for yoga therapist. Today her classes are a combination of Hatha and Vinyasa yoga, with special focus on movement meditation. In her free time she enjoys deepening her knowledge of Pranayama and practices Transcendental Meditation. She is also the co-founder of Green Yogi Traveler project that focuses on combining yoga, travel and activities, as well as Go Explore Croatia travel agency specialised in outdoor adventures.



Yoga classes are suitable for all levels, including beginners.
We'll practice yoga on a wooden platform, just steps from the river, surrounded by lush greenery.




Kayaking on the Mrežnica involves paddling on a calm section of the river with gentle waterfalls. If you’ve never tried kayaking before, don’t worry—most retreat participants will likely be first-timers too! It’s perfect for beginners, offering a fun and exciting way to explore the Mrežnica River.

10:00–11:30 - Water Flow Vinyasa (dynamic yoga inspired by the river flow)
11:30–13:00 - Rest, swimming
13:00–14:00 - Lunch
14:00–17:00 - Free time: relaxation, swimming
17:00–18:30 - Restore & Relax (restorative yoga, breathing, and meditation)
19:00–20:00 - Dinner
21:00 - Yoga Nidra and outdoor Gong Bath
22:00 - Moments together by the campfire and stargazing
DAY 2
Sunday 31st August 2025

07:30–08:30 - River Flow (dynamic morning yoga and breathing session)
08:30–09:30 - Breakfast
10:00–14:00 - Kayaking on the Mrežnica (about 2.5 hours of leisurely paddling, swimming, and exploring river channels)
14:00–15:00 - Lunch
15:00–17:00 - Socializing and free time at the camp
17:00–18:00 - Restore & Yin (restorative yoga with elements of yin yoga)
18:30 - Return to Zagreb

We will create a WhatsApp group where you will be able to discuss sharing a ride together, so most probably the transfer add-on won't be needed.

Payments are non-refundable, but it’s possible to transfer your reservation and payments to another person.

How do I get to Robinson Camp on the Mrežnica River?
Robinson Camp is located at Gornji Zvečaj, Croatia, approximately a 1h drive south from Zagreb and 1h30 from Rijeka.
