Wild Souls Retreat · Koh Phangan, Thailand

Wild Souls Yoga Retreat, Thailand

15–21 November 2026 · 6 nights Koh Phangan, Thailand

Bravely becoming your truest self

Wild Souls Retreat takes place at Shivari, a jungle retreat center on Koh Phangan's northwest coast, five minutes by scooter from the island's best sunset beach. Thatched treehouse bungalows, an open-air yoga studio built around a living tree, and a stone walking labyrinth set the scene for six days of yoga, meditation and consciousness work with Valerie Hechinger.

Mornings begin with meditation and yoga, evenings close with a reflective movement practice and sunset by the sea. Beyond the mat, the week leaves room for sound baths, ecstatic dance and art sessions, plus Koh Phangan's own rhythm — with an optional extension to northern Thailand's Loy Krathong lantern festival for anyone who wants to stay longer.

The people behind your retreat

Valerie Hechinger, yoga teacher and mentor leading the Wild Souls Thailand retreat

Valerie Hechinger

Yoga Teacher & Mentor

Valerie's teaching centers on what she calls consciousness work — going a layer beneath conventional mental training to look at both the thoughts we have and the emotions underneath them, often using tarot as a tool to bring hidden feelings into the open.

She believes new places give us the chance to see familiar situations from a fresh perspective — the philosophy behind every retreat she leads, pairing yoga and meditation with real distance from daily routine.
