Retreats and trips under the Green Yogi Traveler brand are organized by Eko Explorations d.o.o., Zagreb, Croatia (VAT 17409590612) — a licensed Croatian travel agency acting as organizer of record. These terms summarize our standard booking conditions; specific retreats may carry their own terms, which we confirm at the time of booking.
To secure your place, a deposit of 30% of the package price is payable at booking, with the remaining balance due no later than 30 days before departure. Some retreats may have a different payment schedule, which we will confirm with you directly.
Any bank transfer fees are deducted from refunded amounts. Where a retreat allows it, you may transfer your booking and payments to another person — contact us to arrange this.
We may cancel a retreat in the case of insufficient registrations (with at least 30 days' notice), problems with third-party services, or events of force majeure. If we cancel, you will receive a full refund within 14 days, or an alternative arrangement of equivalent value.
As a licensed Croatian travel agency we hold the liability insurance and insolvency protection required of organizers under Croatian law (ZPUuT). That cover protects you against our liability as organizer — it is not a personal accident or private medical policy for you.
We therefore require every traveler to hold their own comprehensive travel and medical insurance, covering at minimum: medical treatment and emergency repatriation, cancellation and curtailment, and personal belongings. Please check that your policy actually covers the activities on your retreat — some policies exclude yoga, hiking, watersports and similar activities. We are not responsible for costs you incur that appropriate insurance would have covered.
Our retreats involve physical activity — which may include yoga, pilates, breathing exercises, hiking, swimming, cycling or watersports depending on the retreat. By booking, you confirm that:
We treat this information confidentially and use it only to look after you properly. We may, exceptionally, decline or end participation in a specific activity where we reasonably believe it is unsafe for you or for others.
Every class, session and excursion is optional. You choose what to take part in, you set your own pace, and you may rest or step out at any time. Please tell your teacher or guide about any injury or condition before a session, work within your own comfortable range, and never move into pain.
Physical activity, travel and being in natural environments carry risks that cannot be removed entirely, however carefully a trip is run — for example muscle or joint injury, slips and falls, uneven or slippery ground, sun and heat, insects, sea and weather conditions. By taking part you accept those inherent risks. This does not affect our responsibility to organize your retreat with proper care, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law (see Our responsibility below).
Please follow the reasonable instructions of your teacher, guide, or the venue, respect other guests and the places we visit, and take care of the property you use. We may end a participant's stay, without refund, where their behavior is unlawful, endangers themselves or others, or seriously disrupts the retreat for other guests.
Excessive alcohol or the use of illegal substances is not compatible with taking part safely in physical activity. Please do not practice or take part in excursions under the influence.
Some things on or around a retreat are provided by independent businesses — for example an optional excursion you book locally, a spa or massage treatment, equipment hire, or transport you arrange yourself. Where you contract directly with such a provider, that arrangement is between you and them and is subject to their terms. We are happy to help you arrange these, but we are not the organizer of them.
Our retreats are intended for guests aged 18 and over. Under-18s may attend only where we have agreed this in writing in advance, as part of a booking made by a parent or guardian who attends and remains responsible for them throughout.
We sometimes take photographs or video during retreats and may use them in our marketing. Please just tell us if you would rather not appear — at any point, including afterwards — and we will not use images of you, or will remove them.
We organize every retreat with care, and as your organizer of record we are responsible for the proper performance of the travel services included in your package, in line with Croatian and EU package travel law.
We are not responsible for: events beyond our reasonable control (such as extreme weather, strikes, transport disruption, epidemics or other force majeure); the acts or omissions of independent third parties you contract with directly; losses that appropriate travel insurance would have covered; or consequences arising from information about your health or requirements that you did not give us.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. Your statutory rights as a consumer, and your rights under package travel law, are not affected by anything written here.
These terms are governed by Croatian law, and the Croatian courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the EU, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country you live in, and you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your own country. The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
