A thermal spa hotel on the Danube
Ensana Thermal Margaret Hotel is a 4-star superior hotel set in the parkland of Margaret Island — a car-free island in the middle of the Danube, five minutes from central Budapest. With 285 rooms and its own Spa & Medical Centre offering thermal water and healing mud treatments, it's built as a genuine health and wellness base, not just a place to sleep between excursions.
Retreat groups get unlimited access to the thermal pools, saunas and steam baths, plus a bright indoor studio for daily yoga — all a short walk from the island's historic water tower and its own gardens.
Green Yogi Traveler is a licensed Croatian travel agency — when you bring your group here, we handle the accommodation, transfers, meals and day-to-day logistics, so you can focus on your retreat.

Guest rooms, indoor thermal pools, and a dedicated yoga studio
Ensana Thermal Margaret Hotel has 285 rooms, with views over the island's parkland, the historic water tower, or the Danube itself. We'll work through the exact allocation and room type for your group together once you're ready to book.
Indoor thermal pools
Guests have unlimited access to the hotel's indoor thermal pools year-round, alongside saunas, steam baths and a cold plunge pool as part of the on-site Spa & Medical Centre.
The yoga space
Daily practice happens in the hotel's own studio — a bright, mirrored room with a full-length ballet bar and wood floor, big enough for a full retreat group. On fine days, we take the group out to practice on the grass in Margaret Island's own parkland instead.
Hungarian food, made retreat-friendly
Hungarian cuisine leans heavily on meat — goulash, stews and roasts are the backbone of the local table. But we know the kitchens and restaurants around Budapest that can turn the same classics vegetarian or vegan: mushroom goulash instead of beef, vegetable paprikash instead of chicken, and stuffed cabbage or stuffed peppers made with rice and vegetables instead of minced meat. Langós — Hungary's fried dough classic — is vegetarian by nature anyway, so it's an easy win for the whole table.
At the hotel itself, Platán Restaurant's buffet breakfast and Boróka Bar cover the everyday meals, and we flag dietary requirements with the kitchen in advance so it's ready for your group from day one.
