The whole property is booked as one — so for the length of your stay, the peninsula belongs to your group alone, with no other guests sharing the houses, the sauna, or the dock.

Three houses, 15 bedrooms, one group at a time
Šiaurys Resort's sleeping quarters are split across three separate houses — Big House, Little House and North House — so a group can spread out across private buildings rather than share hallways with strangers. We'll work through the exact room allocation for your group together once you're ready to book.
Big House
The largest of the three, Big House holds six bedrooms and three bathrooms around a stone fireplace, a full galley kitchen, and a book-lined dining room that opens onto a wraparound deck facing the water.
Little House
Little House takes a warmer, more bohemian turn — four bedrooms and four bathrooms under a steep cathedral ceiling, with floor-to-ceiling glass framing the forest on every side.
A ritual sauna, a forest tipi, and space to slow down
Wellness here isn't an add-on — it's built into the property. A wood-fired sauna sits at the water's edge for evening rounds between cold swims, a separate activities house gives the group a dedicated room for yoga or sound work, and a tipi further into the trees offers a smaller, quieter space for ceremony.
The ritual sauna
Built from timber with its own dock and lake view, the sauna runs on wood heat rather than an electric stove, in the older Baltic tradition — the kind of session built around birch whisks and a cold-water finish, not a quick ten minutes before dinner.
Activities house & tipi
A separate building away from the sleeping houses is set up for group work — yoga, meditation, sound healing or a facilitated workshop, with enough floor space for a full retreat group at once. For something smaller, a canvas tipi set back in the pines gives a quieter, more intimate spot for ceremony or a closing circle.

The three houses hold 15 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms between them, which comfortably suits a mid-sized retreat group. Several rooms include a sofa bed or a mezzanine level, so exact capacity depends on how you'd like the group split — we'll work through the room allocation with you directly.
Is Šiaurys Resort booked as a private group, or shared with other guests?
The whole peninsula is rented as a single property, not by individual room. When your group is on-site, no other guests share the grounds, the houses, the sauna, or the dock.
Can meals be catered at Šiaurys Resort, or does the group need to self-cater?
Both are possible. Big House and Little House each have a full self-catering kitchen, and we can also arrange private catering — including a set table lakeside or in the forest — if you'd rather your group not cook.

Is Šiaurys Resort only suited to yoga retreats, or does it work for other group offsites?
