Aim Higher in Argentina is an eight-night journey through two unforgettable worlds. You begin in Buenos Aires — a city of tree-lined boulevards, historic cafés and late-night tango — then fly south to Patagonia, where glacial lakes, golden forests and snow-dusted peaks become the backdrop for your practice.
Each day pairs an energising morning flow with a restorative evening session, woven around city walks, a guided mountain hike, kayaking on a mirror-still lake, and slow afternoons at a lakeside spa hotel. Hosted by Hanan & Heather and organised end-to-end by Green Yogi Traveler, all you have to do is show up and breathe.
The week has a natural arc — vibrant days in Buenos Aires, then a gentle slowing down in Patagonia. Throughout, mornings open with an active practice and evenings close with something restorative.
A guided tour through the heart of Argentina's capital — grand avenues, historic plazas, colourful neighbourhoods and the café culture that gives the city its rhythm.
A group hike through Patagonia's forests and viewpoints, with turquoise lakes and dramatic peaks at every turn — gentle enough for all, breathtaking for everyone.
Paddle out onto a mirror-still mountain lake, surrounded by forest and reflections — one of the most peaceful ways to take in the Patagonian wilderness.

A central boutique hotel in the heart of Buenos Aires, then a serene lakeside spa hotel in the mountains of Patagonia.
Nights 1–3 · Buenos Aires
You start in the heart of the city, within easy reach of its grand avenues, historic cafés and tango halls. It's the perfect base to feel the energy of Buenos Aires before heading south.
Nights 4–8 · Patagonia (Bariloche area)
A calm, modern hotel set above the lakes near San Carlos de Bariloche, with floor-to-ceiling windows framing the water and mountains. This is where the retreat slows right down.
Hanan & Heather are the teaching duo behind Aim Higher. Two Arizona-based yoga teachers and longtime friends, they lead international retreats together — from Hvar Island to Portugal, Vietnam and now Argentina. Each retreat pairs an energising morning practice with restorative evenings, plenty of time to explore, and the warm, welcoming group spirit that brings travellers back year after year.
E-RYT 500 · YACEP · Hanan's Yoga, Arizona
Hanan first stepped onto the mat in 2006, drawn in by the focus and physical challenge of Ashtanga. Today her teaching spans Vinyasa Flow, Myofascial Release and Thai Yoga Bodywork, shaped by training with teachers including David Swenson, Kino MacGregor and Manju Jois.
Her classes are built on encouragement, compassion, humour and faith, with one simple aim: to help students feel good in their bodies so they can keep moving freely for the rest of their lives. As a Yoga Alliance continuing-education provider, she also trains other teachers in myofascial release and Thai bodywork.
E-RYT 500 · LCSW · Love Serve Inspire
Heather's yoga journey began in 2001 and now weaves together several threads: she is an E-RYT 500 teacher, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a certified clinical trauma specialist. That combination shapes a teaching style that is grounding, restorative and deeply attentive to how body and mind heal together.
Trained in Restorative and Yin yoga, SmartFLOW, Yoga Nidra and Reiki, she founded Love Serve Inspire in 2018. Her sessions bring together her faith, the neuroscience of trauma and the tools of yoga, designed to leave you feeling balanced, rejuvenated and inspired — whether you're new to yoga or returning to it.
Co-founders · Green Yogi Traveler
Behind the scenes, Gorana and Davor handle every practical detail — accommodation, transfers, meals, excursions, photography and video — so Hanan, Heather and you can be fully present. As a licensed travel agency and Travelife Partner, Green Yogi Traveler is the organiser of record for the retreat.
The retreat is split between two of Argentina's most loved destinations. You begin with three nights in Buenos Aires, then fly south to Patagonia for five nights at a lakeside spa hotel near San Carlos de Bariloche, surrounded by mountains, forests and turquoise lakes.
A short domestic flight connects Buenos Aires and Bariloche (about 2 hours). This internal flight is not included in the retreat price, but we help you choose the right flight so you arrive with the group. Airport transfers in both cities are included.
No — all levels are welcome. Each day has an energising morning practice and a gentle restorative session in the evening, so you can do as much or as little as feels right for your body.
Yes. Many guests come on their own. You can choose double occupancy to share, or single occupancy for your own room, and you'll be warmly welcomed into the group from day one.
March is early autumn in the southern hemisphere. Buenos Aires is warm, while Patagonia is mild and crisp — comfortable days and cool evenings, with the forests just beginning to turn golden. Bring layers for the south.
